Contributor Agreement

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before contributing any content to Tech Responsibly.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

  • Country refers to: Florida, United States
  • Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Tech Responsibly.
  • Website refers to Tech Responsibly, accessible from https://techresponsibly.org
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Acknowledgment

Any content that any individual (“Contributor”) may submit to the Company through email or via a contact form on the Website is subject to the terms of the below.

Contributor agrees to allow the Company to publish original articles written by Contributor (the “Posts”) on the Company’s Website, social media and/or wherever the Company shall choose. Contributor grants the Company the exclusive, worldwide right to publish on the Website, syndicate, and distribute all or a portion of the Posts in any language, worldwide, on any medium, website, social network or anywhere else the Company shall choose in the future.

Contributor grants the Company the right to use Contributor’s name, likeness, information about Contributor, photos, and the logo of Contributor’s web site, if applicable, in connection with the Posts.

Contributor represents and warrants that as a Contributor and true author of the content posted that you have the right to grant these rights; that the Posts are original; that they do not knowingly contain any untrue statements, invade any right of privacy, or infringe upon any statutory or common law copyright or otherwise violate the rights of any third party; and that all statements in the Posts that are asserted as facts are true and/or based upon reasonable research for accuracy. The Company may transfer these rights in the event of a sale to a third party.

Contributor agrees to cooperate in the defense of any legal action brought against the Company from the publication of the Posts. You agree to reveal to the Company any actual or potential conflict of interest, including but not limited to any financial interest in any product, website, partnership, firm, or commercial venture relating to the subject of the Posts. The Company reserves the right to remove from the Website any of the Posts that violate its publishing standards, as determined solely by the Company. The Company may illustrate the Posts. Contributor grants the Company the right to edit the Posts for publication.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Country.

By logging into the site or submitting posts to Tech Responsibly, Contributor indicates acceptance of these terms.
